So Wassup Marvelites!!!!
So in the earlier blogs, we people got to know about the most probable revised release dates for our favorite MCU movies. Phase-4 of MCU will be truly unique not only because it is expanding the universe by introducing many new heroes but is also taken up something which no cinematic universe has ever done so far which is intersecting the TV Shows with the Movies. Marvel Studios have many TV series already available in different OTT platforms but the Phase-4 TV series which are to be released on Disney Plus are unique in terms of scale and their story arc having a larger impact in the original MCU mainstream movies. In the recent past, Netflix's Marvel Shows have had a great reception from all the marvel fans but these shows marked to be a smaller universe within itself and never had anything to do with the main MCU plotline. These Disney Plus shows are announced to have a direct link to the upcoming Phase-4 movies which has already left the fans pumped for these shows.
Marvel is utilizing this platform to give unique shows to the so-called "second-tier" characters who did not have their own mainstream movie so far. The same actors who portrayed their characters in the films will reprise their roles for these limited series. Feige said the series would take characters from the films, change them, and see those changes reflected in future MCU films. He even claimed that new characters introduced in the series could also go to appear in films. During the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, Feige announced The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wanda Vision, Loki, What if...? and Hawkeye as part of Marvel Studios Phase Four slate alongside several films. At D23 Expo 2019,
Feige announced Ms.Marvel, Moon Knight, and the She-Hulk as also part of Phase Four. The series budgets are reported $100-150 million each. The quality of the series shall be no less than the mainstream movies.
THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER
As per what we know until now-following the events of the "Avengers: Endgame", Sam Wilson / Falcon( Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.” The all-new series is directed by Kari Skogland. Steve rogers passed the shield on to sam at the end of the Endgame. It is rumored to have 6 episodes and had a confirmed release date of August, with a specific date yet to be announced. It is likely to be affected by COVID-19 as the production has been stopped due to the pandemic and unknown at what point it will resume. But Mackie gave fans a positive update on production and even told they have very little stuff to do. The confirmed date for this series earlier was in August 2020.
WANDA VISION
As per what we know until know“WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman.
Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen will reprise their big-screen roles as Vision and Wanda, of course.
Kat Dennings and Randall Park will be reprising their MCU roles of Darcy Lewis and Agent Jimmy Woo respectively. WandaVision will be the second live-action Marvel TV series to hit Disney+ expected to release in December. Fiege already announced it to have a direct link with the Doctor Strange sequel.
......to be continued in my next blog. Let us know more about the shift back and new expected release dates and updates on Thor: Love and Thunder, upcoming Spiderman movie, and other Disney + Shows.
So Stay Tuned:)))
